Jin Daxi (Charlene Choi) was born in a fishermen district and her family has ever since been making a living by selling seafood. The girl lives a moderate life, daily facing the sea and singing her songs hoping to become a popular singer one day. She believes that all she needs is her confidence, youth and passion to make her dream come true. Her father who sees that she is serious about starting a career as singer, calls her cousin over to arrange an opportunity for her to enter the entertainment circle. After engaging in team work with the director Sha Li (Jordan Chan) who is facing a career low and only thinks of his secret love the singer Shadow (Niki Chow) and the feeble hearted driver (Shawn Yue) she is able to change her team members lives in many ways and all the involved people become the best of friends. Through the team co-operation Shadow is able to receive a test rehearsal of a record company. However, her voice lacks some essential keys. Daxi tries to help out an is mistakenly recorded by the operation managers. The company threatens to put Shadow on ice for good if she doesn't get the record deal.
