relationship with her father Ju-seok (Ju Hyun) a retired policeman has never been on good terms and as before the two are
unable to lead a meaningful conversation. When Jeong's sincere intentions to build up her life anew by running a beauty parlor

leads to unexpected consequences …
Lee Jeong-chul's ambitious directorial debut is loosely based on several of his experiences in real life. His talent to

the Best New Director trophy at the 25th Blue Dragon Awards. Soo Ae whose earlier appearances include the popular TV series
hit Love Letter offers an outstanding performance in her premier silver screen role for which she was honored with

Alone and Friend gives a convincing portrayal as father that stubbornly adheres to the society's strict traditional
principles.
