View Korea's history through the eyes of
The President's Barber !
Veteran actor Song Gang-ho plays Han Mo an ordinary man living in the close vicinity of Korea's President with his wife
Min-ja (Mun So-ri) and his son Nak-an (Lee Jae-eung). The tale takes place in one of Korea's most turbulent eras during the
60's and the 70's. Lucky enough to be assigned as the barber of Korea's most powerful man, Han's business flourishes after
all available men are ordered to serve in the army and therefore need their hair shortened. Recalling some of Korea's most
shaking political events, director Im Chang-sang leaves enough room for humoresque passages offering viewers a vivid blend
of fictitious history and comical cinema.
