Domoto Tsuyoshi
Kokubun Taichi
Ogochi Nanako
SYNOPSIS:
The film revolves around the mostly dependable Toraji
(Kokubun Taichi) and free-spirited Haiji (Domoto Tsuyoshi), two siblings who suddenly become President and Executive Director
of Armadillo when their father, Kintaro Koinobori, suddenly steps down from his position and appoints his sons in his stead.
With the help of their father, the two brothers keep Armadillo at the top of
the heap, yet slowly, but surely the relationship among all three begins to deteriorate. Will
the family hold together? Will they pull through? The answer may lie in a song the boys are composing: Fantastipo...
Fantastipo marks Domoto Tsuyoshi's return to the silver screen, last appearing in Kindaichi Shonen's Case
File: Legend of Shanghai Mermaid way back in 1997. The film is also a milestone
for Kokubun Taichi, who makes his feature film debut. With wonderful performances
and winning story-line, Tabuuchi's first feature length production can be described in only one word: Fantastipo!
