STARRING: Stephen Chow
Vicki Zhao Wei
SYPNOSIS:
Stephen Chow's Shaolin Soccer
is no one of his best work, which is also the highest-grossing movie this summer in Hong Kong. This is no silly farce but a serious comedy, co-written, produced and co-directed
by Stephen. It is about a team of Shaolin monk/Kung fu experts leading humble lives in modern society, and how they revive
this great art through soccer. Starring Richard Ng, Stephens number one sidekick as the coach, and Vicki Zhao, a master of
the secret of Tai Chi in the film, as the love interest of Stephen. Shaolin Soccer is uplifting comedy filled with hilarious
scenarios, and a great theme delivering you a very positive message. This extended version contains an additional 10-minute
scene which is a must-see, especially when it is one of the funniest scenes of the film.
