SYNOPSIS:
Noted short film director Im Pil Seong (So-nyeon-gi and Baby) makes his feature film directorial debut
with 2005's Antarctic Journal, a pulse pounding mystery thriller featuring two of South Korea's finest acting talents!
Song Hang-Ko (The President's Barber and Memories of Murder) and Yu Ji-Tae (Natural City and Old Boy)
headline the movie as the standout members of a six man Korean expedition group looking to boldly explore the furthest reaches
of Antarctica. Song Hang Ko takes on the role of the zealous, goal-driven team captain, while Yu Ji Tae portrays a junior
group member who signs up for the expedition out of respect for his idol, the captain. Their journey of discovery soon becomes
something quite different than they first expected. On their forbidding venture into the great unknown, the team members experience
a string of puzzling accidents. To their shock, the men suffer from inner conflict and terror at every turn, in this heart
pounding, highly suspenseful thriller!
