After moving from Seoul to a small village, Yoo-Jin becomes the center of torment, as her classmates pick on her for being different. In an attempt to get back at them, Yoo-Jin tries to contact the spirit world. She is unsure if it works, but when her classmates begin to die, she knows she has made contact.

The village elders call for a town meeting, and decide that it is Yoo-Jin's presence that is causing the disturbance. But under the surface of their decision lies a terrible secret that took place thirty years ago, when another family moved to the village and was ostracized for being different.
