Buster is a bit player in a Cantonese Opera troupe who has never had a starring role. But when a ghost starts causing trouble during the productions, he soon finds himself being asked to play a female lead. After further investigation he learns that the ghost in fact is the spirit of an actress who died 60 years earlier when performing the same role, but what is more surprising is why he has been asked to perform it.
