Kim Kyung-soo is in a classroom, where the teacher, discovering that he is not paying attention, throws a piece of chalk at him. To everyone's astonishment, the chalk spins in midair and spirals back to the teacher, throwing him against the blackboard. Of course Kyung-soo is not your everyday student, this chalk-maneuvering feat is only a sneak preview of his super powers. Among his many talents, he can fly through the air and manipulate water using his inner energy. Expelled from school for the eighth time, he arrives at a new school, Whasango, with the firm vow to keep a low profile and not get kicked out this time. But, he doesn't get his wish. Whasango happens to be a far-from-ordinary school filled with students that are all experts in martial arts. Kyung-soo is soon dragged into a power struggle between teachers and students trying to get their hands on an ancient, legendary book, which supposedly gives the possessor control over the whole school.
