WARRIORS OF HEAVEN AND EARTH

Swordplay epic during China's Tung Dynasty involving the shipment of a sacred bone of Buddha artifact. This film, heavy with swordplay, revolves around a caravan during China's Tang Dynasty, in the western territories, that is carrying a sacred bone of the Buddha. The caravan, however, is just the setting, as the film follows several characters, each with different motives, including An, who plans to steal the bone... Set during the Tang Dynasty captain Li Zai (Jiang), was chased by cop Raisei (Kiichi) a former Japanese diplomatic student. Meanwhile a caravan carrying the sacred bone of the Buddha, the leader of a group of bandits An (Wang) (who want to rob the caravan), and Wen Zhu (a general's daughter), all get caught up in the battle.
